I had a terrible experience with toys r us tonight. My husband dropped a bike off to be put together on Wednesday. When he dropped it off he informed them that the bike was bought at a different store. He was told that it was no problem, and paid the fee to have it put together. Well today, the night before Christmas Eve, we call to check on the bike, and no one in the store knew where the bike was or what it looked like. They said someone forgot to but the red name tag on it and that they would look for it. This search began at 12:00. While trying to give the benefit of the doubt and take inconsideration the busyness of the holiday season I waited for them to call me back as they said they would. No call ever came so I called back at 6:00pm, and was told the bike had possibly been found and to come pick it up. Just as we started to get excited, our excitement was cut short when my husband to arrived to find that it was the wrong bike and ours hadn't been assembled! When my husband spoke on the phone with the store manger (being that he was for some reason unavailable in person at the store). The store manager Tyrone Sweat (if that is in fact his last name) he claimed it was a liability and someone should have called us days ago. It is a travesty that we had to go around in circles for hours. And instead of admitting they had made a mistake and putting the bike together (now that days had passed and we could not take it anywhere else) they went with the loop hole. They should be ashamed to do this to people right before the Holidays.

I bought a game on the 17th of December for my daughter Xbox One. It was a Christmas gift needless to say the game didn't work after several attempts to play. The day after Christmas we went to the TOYSRUS store to return the game or get another game to replace the one that was frozen. Explain to the customer service person the issue, she was like cool we can exchange it for another one let me have your state ID, No problem. They go to find another game there is not another one the girl then freak out I need a manager, I'm like calm down can she just exchange it for another game of the same price. WTH did I say that for, the manager come up and go we cant take it because it open, I'm like WHAT, How else would we find out it doesn't work if she didn't open it. she tell us it toyrsru. policy . The manager tell us that toysrus policy on open games are little iffy,I said please show me where that policy is. Because online it says hassle free exchange, store credit etc, She said you have the receipt I'm like no can't you scan it, The manger say to us its really hard to tell if you bought it from here Blah Blah, So I'm like okay just in case I find the receipt what then. The manager say oh I will be here until11 tonight I can see what we can do. IM like really.I found my receipt and I read it from front to back and there is nothing on it about
Had a terrible experience today with the online sales, bought a game and went to the store to pickup just for the customer service ladies and store manager to notify me that my order has not be processed. We called customer service for online orders they gave us the run around saying my money has not been processed hours later even though it was pulled immediately from my account. Needless to say the stores customer service ladies and management stuck through with me til the end 4 hours later I ended up with a refund from online services and a huge discount for the same game I purchased from the store. Thank you management and a big thanks to the customers service gals for the outstanding help of getting everything solved. I highly recommend this team for anyone needing assistance great job everyone
The customer service rep at the desk jumped the gun and processed a return when I needed an exchange. Then she proceeded to make snide comments about my little grandson. She was completely line and politically incorrect.
Large store well stocked, and nice staff. However, in 2 occasions, I went to pick up online orders, and the wait was ridiculous. The first time was 20 mins, and the second time 35 minutes (and there wasnt a line at customer service). They just couldn't find my orders (even though I received texts saying they were ready for pick up).
So I'm will be at customer service today,lets just see how this plays out.
