One staff, Mrs.Stacy, was my favourite. She was sweet, she helped more than their therapy did. She would allow kids to listen to CLEAN versions of their choice of music, when we went outside, we danced, took turns on the swings, played ball, drawn and colored, etc.

Brynn Marr staff do not keep parents informed about anything other than new medications. My son had a court date to have his stay extended and Brynn Marr did not tell me about it even though I called about his situation the day prior. They said they do not track court dates for their patients. The counseling team does not give any valuable information to the parents or guardians of their patients. I strongly recommend trying other locations for treatment and avoiding Brynn Marr.

Went involuntary. I missed school for a treatment that did literally nothing. I didn't need to be there but they forced me to take medicine, which should be illegal but it's hard to get any better when you focused on all the drama girls cause in small confinements. Good luck to anyone who gets sent there.

This hospital like many others has its unique flaws. I didn't leave cured but I possessed the knowledge of how to seek out help in a time of crisis. The caring mht's and rn's were for the most part compassionate to others and incredibly supporting. S/o to Mama Joyce because I miss you like hell.

The food was very good(besides the grits) and I had made friends there.

There were two good staff and the nurse herself was very helpful. While they did load me up with 15 different medications, there were thieving boys and girls, fights, etc. But It was overall a good place.

While we did have calls every wednsdays, it did become "packed" and had to wait until other days.

Could have been more helpful in means of helping your mental stability. the lunch staff are rude and stuff.. food is pretty okay.

Overall it was a good place despite the bad happenings.

I was admitted (involuntary) into Brynn mar on December 10th 2015(12 turnining 13, I am now going to be 15)I didn't get out until 3 days before Christmas eve after a court hearing.

When day shift switched out as night shift came in, they would talk to you until you fell asleep. They were sweet too.
