When trying to return an item that was NOT posted as non-refundable or as a final sale, the sales clerk contacted the owner or senior manager who to my surprise said "I DON'T CARE". I couldn't believe what he just said. If a manager or owner doesn't care about customer service why should the employees. I will never shop there again. After discussing his lack of professionalism, he eventually permitted the refund, but the lack of concern for your customers says a lot about your business. Recommendation: FIND ANOTHER HALLMARK STORE, THIS ONE DOES NOT DESERVE OUR BUSINESS!!!!!
Worst customer service ever! The receipt states that if you are not satisfied with your purchase you can return it within 90 days for a refund or exchange. I purchased an ornament that I was unhappy with and went back to the store within a week to get my money back. $17.07 to be exact. I was informed that ornaments and all other seasonal items (the whole store is practically seasonal) are exempt from the return policy. The store manager proceeded to read this to me from my receipt to which she could not find because it isn't on there. She then directed me to a half covered up sign that was located at the back register of the store. I then contacted the owners daughter, Rajul, who reiterated what Becky the store manager told me and her excuse was that they were a small store and did not have enough money to print the full return policy on the receipt. Needless to say I will not be going back.
