Every time I have walked into this agency I have had nothing but great service. Longest time I've had to wait was between 30-40 minutes. The staff were kind enough to help me with whatever I needed and gave great direction. One instance I was missing some paperwork and was told to come back a little late and go directly to the counter and not have to wait. Obviously the key is to go when there aren't so many people waiting, because of course you're going to have a terrible time when there's 100 people waiting for the same thing you are.
Kudos to the staff here! I am thoroughly impressed with how quickly my visit went this afternoon. Being from California, I am used to DMV trips taking 3 hours - I was in and out of the Jacksonville License Plate Agency in less than 15 minutes. Amazing considering it is the 31st of the month, less than two hours until closing and the parking lot was packed! Keep up the good work!

Phone NEVER works. It's beyond irritating. I have a simple question and I have to drive all the way up there to ask. Oh and the lady up there specially said I didn't need to request a title replacement when I sell my car-that I could just do it there. Well we get all the way to selling it and guess what. Need the title. Now It's been over three weeks and I still don't have it.
Well, it's the DMV. Surprisingly, this place moves quickly though compared to other states. Today was my fourth visit in the past year (third in the last three weeks) and my average wait time has been around 50 minutes. Just make sure you have your paperwork correct and things should go well.
