We have had our dogs treated at Collegeview and it’s sister vet clinic Jacksonville Animal Hospital for over 10 years. They have always provided patient and professional care to our dogs. Sometimes there is s fairly lengthy wait but having needed to have urgent and emergency care for our dogs in the past I understand that things happen that they cannot control. I’ve also been the patient who needed an extra test run or spent time asking extra questions.
Dr Thomas has seen us through the loss of 2 furbabies in the last 5 years. In fact, the first time we saw her was when our Golden was at her end. I was both impressed and grateful for the kindness and professionalism Dr Thomas showed us that day.
I have been taking my furbabies to Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital for close to 15 years. I wouldn't dream of taking a pet anywhere else. I've tried other vets in the area and some for years only to end up realizing their goal was money while mine was caring for my pet.
She also helped us keep our babies healthy and happy. When our schnauzer had cancer, she was the one who diagnosed him. I remember being so upset and Dr Thomas hugged me until I was able to listen to her talk about options. He had a very aggressive cancer and was gone in just a couple weeks. Dr Thomas also saw us through that loss.
Update... never going back here again. I have no tolerance for stupidity.
The cost of care here is crazy. We were on time and had to wait over a hour. The waiting room was packed when we arrived and by the time we left they were closing.
Love this place! They took amazing care of my cat when he was sick and even called me a few days later to check up on him. I can't say enough good things about this place, definitely recommend them for any of your pets health needs.
I am very greatful for the staff. My boy Sarge was on deaths door from an unknown illness when I took him in he was attended to immediately and treatment was started. Sarge is now with me and is as full of life as before. I recommend this Veterinarian to everyone.
We now have a little furry ball of love who is getting excellent care from not only Dr Thomas, but the entire staff. Everyone there is always nice and friendly and very professional. As I said, I wouldn't dream of taking my furbaby anywhere else. 5 stars is not a high enough rating for such a great facility. Everything from spaying to wellness visits to end of life--they are always helpful, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. Plus, they treat your pet like it's their pet. What can be better than that?
