This facility is complete garbage! If you have an appointment at 11, plan on being here way past your appointment time. Please cancel you’re entire day after your appointment time, you won’t make it. I understand things happen, however, my wife and I are both vets. We have both experienced huge delays in our appointments almost every time we’ve gone in!

The people are nice while there, but you can never get a hold of anyone. It’s very annoying because you’ll call and not be able to get to the nurse but then you leave a message and they never return your call. So you call back in 2 days and the same thing happens, you never get a call. When you get labs done and you’re told that you will get them the next day, that’s when you expect them. I’ve never been called and given results on any labs.
I just witnessed a veteran being turned away who was having issues and wanted a phone call at a minimum regarding needing an appt to see a neurosurgeon and the staff member told him he might as well go to Fayetteville because that wasn't gonna happen. She was very disrespectful and did nothing to diffuse the situation. Why should I bother to come here if that's the way their gonna be. On top of that I was told to be here 30 min prior to my appt and now it's 20 min past my appt time. Too much b.s.
Labs is a joke as well. Get there, go to my appointment. Come back to the front waiting room and sit for at least 30 minutes, after I took a number. Then I get called back to another waiting room with a large group of other people that have been waiting an eternity. Then guess what another wait.

Id love to only give one star. The phones are always ringing when Im there. The clerks just sit there and talk to each other. My appointments are always late even though they ask you to get there early. Getting prescriptions refilled is an absolute joke. they are so quick to shove pills down our throats but when you actually need a medication refilled you wont get it for 30 days+ after you ask for it. If you try to order you refill early to make up for the time itll take to get to you they wont refill it early. You have to ride thier butts all the time. The doctors will not do their jobs without repeated calls, visits, and messages. Most doctors speak such broken english you cant understand them. The doctors dont care about the patients once you get taken back to the office you only actually see the doctor for maybe 3 mins. They offer opinions instead of medical diagnoses or help. More than likely youll just be forced to use the choice program, hopefully you dont get stuck with the bill. Aviod the VA at all costs. The VA will only leave you feeling nauseous, anxious, and depressed.
The only, ONLY reason they are getting 3 stars is because of my Doc. He is great. Otherwise the receptionists/clerks/MSAs sit behind their computers and act like they don't see you, with the exception of the gentleman behind he desk for the specialty clinics.
Well, I could fill this page with details to support my review but it would all boil down to the place is way too small form he number of veterans in this town so the staff seems to be disorganized and over worked. In the short two months that I've been assigned here my MRIs, meds, and bloodwork have been screwed up. The only saving grace is a nurse named Joanne, who did what six other people seemed lost over. Boo! this place stinks. I got much quicker care at the local urgent care center.
I hope my experience here improves.
