Go Anywhere but here this place is beyond awful . Sent my wife a text to arrive at 11. She did and they said, your appt was at 10:45. My wife showed them the text. They tried lying and saying oh that is for a different appointment. Said they would have to reschedule. Took a month alone just to get this appointment for what is possible breast cancer. We told them we will never be back. Plz go anywhere but here. They are incompentant and refuse to admit fault or apologize.
12 hours and all we got was one pain pill, two anti nausea pills, some blood work and an intake EKG? They treated my wife like she was a drug seeking hypochondriac. We understand that emergencies arise but don't tell us you had to intibate an infant and that's why you haven't seen us. How dare you try and guilt us into being understanding. In the span of twelve hours, we were never offered anything other than a blanket and an IV (with no fluids). Never again.
Everyone was very pleasant and helpful and very quick which was great.
This place was ridiculous. My family and I went in there at eight last night because I had excruciating pain in my stomach area where I was doubled over in pain and unable to move whatsoever. They did nothing to help with that for one. Second after waiting four hours a man came in and was saying he had 'stubbed his toe' and he had 'broken it', somehow he was able to be seen earlier than me! when there were babies who were sick and people who were doubled over in pain! I was there until six A.M the next day and I had still not seen the doctor. And once we got to a room, they told us it wouldn't be until noon till we saw a doctor!
I would like to thank the hospital for its amazing care during my surgery. The staff and its patient care are outstanding. I would like to that the OR staff and physicians, recovery nurses and fourth floor staff. I would recommend this hospital 100%. Thank You Onslow Memorial Hospital for your outstanding care and staff.
If you have to go to the hospital, make a longer drive to Wilmington or Newport. Because you won't get any help here.
They werent cleaning the chairs when people were being taken back, the place probably had more germs than any where else in this world. Horrible!
They staff in the waiting room were very rude. They refused to help us and they even turned away an infant who really needed emergency care. How rude!!
