Another very well done Memorial easily accessed as with the others around it it's outside of the base so it doesn't require any ID or anything like that but it shows its attachment and it's the areas appreciation of the military and what they've done for this country sacrifices and everything
My family and I went here for a picnic with a small dog. We enjoyed ourselves as we walked around. There are alot of very cool and touching fixtures to this memorial. There were a couple people just jogging which made it feel like a welcome space to come and enjoy. Each sculpture, fixture and fountain had a story to go with it about the sacrifice of those in the Vietnam War. It really honors all sides of that time, with the humbling being the fountain with its dedication to each individual that died there remembered in glass encompassing the outside of the structure.
Very clean and there's a Vietnam and Montford Point Marine memorial and monuments. Great War fighting History.
A place of healing and Peace....The Home of the Peacekeeper.....Semper Fidelis !
It was a very touching experience! Seeing also the Vietnam Wall (found our cousin) LTC Nolde and seen a steel girder from the World Trade Center and a Memorial for the Marines who were Black that served during WWII!
