Horrible!! Needed to move from NC to CA. First, we had to wait about 5 hours to get our car dolly that we reserved(wasn't in town when we picked up our rental truck). Then in New Mexico the truck broke down. Sat on the side of the road for 2-3 hrs waiting on their road side assistance. They sent 'big rig repair' to look at the rental truck, he said there is something wrong with the transmission(transmission fluid everywhere). So the repair guy sits on the phone with budget for about an hr, gets the ok for us to ease it to our motel. The budget lady then says " if the truck rest tonight, it should be ok tomorrow morning." The repair guys has to explain to her "no ma'am they need a new truck it's the transmission and if they keep going there's going to be more problems". So the following day we are in our motel and we are still waiting to hear from budget so we can do a load swap to a new truck. AVOID BUDGET!!!
Great customer service! They called me the day before I had scheduled to pickup the truck just to check up. Friendly, family owned business, fast and easy to work with. Truck was outside loaded with moving blanks and dolly when I arrived.
