I have never written a review. Mainly, because I don't waste my time and I don't like speaking behind peoples back. I still stick to these principles, however, and have talked with Hawkeye Auto and told them my opinion.
Hawkeye auto sales sold me my 2005 town and country. Ive seen how they take care of their customers and they go above and beyond any other seller ive encountered. Highly recomended.
We were expecting our first baby when we went to Hawk Eyes and needs something family friendly. We got an 05 Chevy Cobalt. The first day I had it home and was driving it the breaks started squealing. So I drove it back up there nearly 40 weeks pregnant ans as aked them to fix it. The young guy told me I was SOL since ya know we test drove it. My husband ended up changing the breaks. No big deal. 3 months later I was driving down the road with my baby in the back seat and the car sputtered and shot sparks out the exhausted! We had to have it towed jn the pouring rain and then paid $500 to a shop to fix the problem. Not even a month later we learn that it had a cracked head gasket. We took it back up them and they worked it out and put us in an 07 impala. When I drove the Impala home we haf nothing but problems with it. We returned both cars and literally pissed away thousands of dollars. I would never ever recommend anyone to purchase anything from this place.
They did not call me when my license plate was in from DMV ultimately ending in me getting pulled then having ticket I must appear in court to have disputed. I went to their office and they said they must have my plate in their inventory. In their stack of around 30 license plates they found mine. I suggested they call the other car owners to let them know their plates are in. I know I wanted to know it would have saved me time and money.. They said "you should be able to and can get out of your ticket, sorry" Overall they seem nice and probably are good people, however, be careful when you do business with them I certainly wish I did not.
So far so good. his cars are always in good condition and service is always the best.
I have bought two cars from them now. And all of them have been excellent cars that I've driven 3 to 4 years each car.
