The staff is very polite but the rooms were not great. When we first got in our room we noticed that the room had a stuffy smell. We thought it was because the AC was off but even after we had the AC on for a couple of hours the smell was still there. We called the front desk to complain, the manager came right away and spray the carpet with some kind of bleach. The room smell much better but a hour later the smell came back. We ended up going to walmart and buying 2 bottles of febreeze just so we can go to sleep. We only stayed for one night but there was no way we could bear to sleep more than one night.
Great location near any food franchise or store you would want! Close to the entrance to the base. Room was ok. The shower water pressure was great! Because of the location of the hotel, it wasn't as quiet as I would have liked. The fridge and microwave worked great.
I was going to give this place a 3 just because their staff and maintenance man seemed friendly, but after 2 extra charges on a card that they were not authorized to use I decided against it. We are military and use a different card to pay for our hotel rooms. My husband used our personal debit for candy at the front desk for our girls and twice now our account was charged extra money when we never even gave them permission to charge our personal account. The rooms were well below average and one of the rooms smelled so musty it was almost unbearable. I had a plug in air freshener though, so that helped. The carpet was nasty. The walls were all marked up etc etc. We chose to continue to stay because we booked online and they didnt have our family suite we requested. Instead they gave us 2 rooms for the price of one. Obviously they have been trying to make their money back for that ever since. I will never stay here again or suggest it to anyone else.
The floor in our room was disgustingly dirty. The carpet was actually stucky! The bed had springs sticking out of it...literally. When we made the front desk aware, the employees acted like they didn't care. Actually stating that "no one else has complained before". We have stayed here before (extended stay) and it was good for the price but this place has gone way down hill. Definitely won't be back.
They gave us the first time a awful room. The water pipe or something would pop all the time. Smell of smoke bad. But we went back two more time and was very pleased with it. They are remodeling and the room was nice. It was a smokers room but nice. The breakfast bar can’t be beat. It had plenty of food. They have coffee all day and usually a cookies or fruit out during the day.
