I'm a stickler for clean bathrooms and my room's bathroom was immaculate. The towels were super soft and the maid service was beyond great. Unfortunately, at many hotels you have to hunt the maids down for little things, but here, they were on point. The linen was brand new (you stay in enough hotels and you can tell). I was staying alone at the time I checked in and the desk clerk made sure I was in a room close to the front desk and in front. My fiancé appreciated that.
We booked the room for one night online a few days in advance. Check - in was hassle free and fast. The room was very clean, tidy, smelled great and fully stocked. The beds and linens looked brand new and were very comfortable. We had car trouble and had to stay another night and they gave us no trouble with booking another night last minute. All the hotel staff was very friendly and professional. Their breakfast didn't have much to choose from but there was plenty of fresh coffee. The only minor complaint I have is that the wifi didn't work when we tried to use it.
Very convenient to Camp Lejeune and not too far of a drive to the beach.
Awesome is how I'd describe my experience and stay at this location. Room was clean, beautifully decorated and their breakfast was great.
All of the front desk staff were excellent, but Mrs. Barbara was awesome. She's not simply professional, but she's down to earth too. Any questions about your bill or charges, she wasn't just available during her shift but afterwards as well. I was moving to another state and had a question about a charge ---more than a WEEK after checking out and she returned my call, and made sure she explained everything. Now that is excellent customer service. We all know you don't find hotel customer service that good these days.
When we return to Jacksonville for an airline event in October, we'll be returning to the super 8 for our weekend. Not just for the super soft towels and coffee, but to see Mrs. Barbara as well. Thank you, Mrs. Barbara, front desk staff and hotel housekeepers.
Have stayed there, many times. Affordable, clean, pool for the boys, and definitely a customer oriented staff! Bravo! Will definitely aim there first, anytime that I visit family in Jacksonville
Carpet in rooms were nasty, no towels for two days, I had 2 rooms and my debit card was charged two more times for a total of $600.00, Manager will not help and I'm having a fight to get it back. I'm retired on disability and I don't have money too give away.
A lot of parking. Nice and clean. Enjoyable place to hang out.
