After reading the few previous reviews, I have to say I didn't run into anything of the sort. The owners/managers were very courteous and helpful, the rooms definitely looked like they had been upgraded and renovated a bit. Bathroom was surprisingly very nice with tile flooring and big sink, and shower pressure was great. They've also put in new flat screen TVs and also have digital cable with multiple HBO channels!! For the prices they ask for, this place is definitely a deal if you're visiting Jacksonville and the base for a few days. Only down side is no breakfast but I can get my own breakfast with the money I saved on the room.
0 stars. In the 6 years that i have been here I have never been treated in such an unprofessional manner. These people have no respect at all for their guests. We rented a room and when we opened the door we were assaulted by the stench of mold and mildew. We returned to the desk to ask for a refund and the clerk was very rude and said that he would not give us a refund at all because the room was already paid for. He wouldn't even listen to why we were unhappy. Avoid this place like the plague.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, I REPEAT DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! It is infestated with BED BUGS. I checked the mattress before I got in the bed and didn't see nothing. Woke up scathing looked at my arm and I had big welts on my arm in 4 different spots. So I pull the cover off of me and turned the flash light on my on and their they were little red bugs. Went to the front desk person about it and showed my arm and he told that it wasn't anything he can do about and he wasn't coming to see the problem, told me I probably brought them there and he has never had any complaints. I was only there 4 hours. So please don't waste your money here I'm telling you in advance.
