This place was fine for our needs. Very basic. Would have been better if our room didn't feel damp the whole time. The air was so humid/moist that the bed sheets felt wet laying in the bed. We ended up using our own blankets on the bed. Other than that breakfast was fine and the staff were very friendly.
It's a nice hotel. Little long in the tooth than little worn out in some places but not too bad. Good location and also good to get around town easily as it's rather centralized. Good options for eating around and good access to the bases in the area. Used it for a weekend holiday and some other sites.
A "3-star" rating for now just because the building is old, the room smelled and the parking lot was full of construction vehicles with no room for guests to park. However, they are building a brand new facility nearby which will be awesome! The service here was great! Kera went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Everything seemed clean, and Mary did an amazing job with breakfast!
Located just off NC 17 and there are plenty of food and convenience options with a few minutes of the hotel. Checkin/out moved quickly and the room was clean. The front desk staff was very welcoming upon my late night arrival. A good stop for overnight rest while traveling.
The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The linens were clean and in good shape. The hotel itself is in a serious need of updating. This location is in the roughest shape of the dozens of Holiday Inn Expresses I've been to. The shower had holes in it from a missing rod. The towell rod was missing. The toilet would not flush properly. Low ceiling in the bathroom. The room smelled due to an AC that had not been cleaned. I'm glad I only paid in points but even then I felt I was overpaying at 20k a night.
