If I could rate it a 0 I would have. The room was absolutely filthy, there were roaches and other types of bugs all over the room, under the beds on the walls if the bathtub. They cable tv didn’t work it would keep freezing and buffering. The sheets were dirty. There was a poorly patched hole in the wall. My thing is if you’re going to rent this room out at least make sure there no holes in the walls and that the room has been sprayed for bugs. Honestly I could’ve dealt with everything else but the sheer amount of bugs made by brief stay very unpleasant. So much so that I left around 4 am because I couldn’t sleep in that room and had to go find another place to stay at.
The place is shabby ... There was paint peeling everywhere, even in the tub. The staff was surly and unhelpful. The micro didn't work. I am a faithful customer so I will chalk this up to this specific site. My comments below are based strictly on this recent stay in Jacksonville.
You can find the most wonderful people in the most unexcepted places. I’ve never had customer service as great as this place. The man who checked me in was Jay and he was very polite even at 5am! I went to two other hotels before and the staff was rude or asleep. I found my way here and he was wide awake and very helpful. Hotel rooms have controlled heat and AC too. Huge plus in my book. Can’t say I’m unhappy in anyway. Thanks Jay!
Overall, pretty decent experience. Kept our privacy for the most part, and they allowed us to clean our own room. Pull was never open for the 3 months during the summer we were there, though. Not too thrilled about that, but really nice staff.
Had to be moved twice. Microwave didnt work in the first room, and toilet didnt work in the second. I rated it 2 stars because of the price. But for 10 dollars more a night you could stay somewhere better. This place could be alot better. I think if managed better, it be great. I'd love to help if management is reading this.
