I love the fact this place is so pet friendly. I think we spoke to the manager and she is a hoot. She kept saying 'her staff' so I think she's the manager. She was funny and engaging and I really liked her. The rooms are great. They smell nice, the bed was comfortable, and the room looked amazing especially for the price. I would stay here again in a heart beat.
Friendly service and very welcoming of my Saint Bernard. Spacious rooms. Wish the water pressure was a little better but definitely one of the best red roofs I've been to
Room smelled like mildew because of the AC, and our neighbors were a bunch of kids partying that kept me up all night. The breakfast was better than average. The area sucks because it's Jacksonville...but it was a short drive to a little zoo so I enjoyed that.
Had a one night stay last Saturday with friends. One group was moved to another room due to an enormous water bug in corner of ceiling and my group was moved to another room due to leaking faucet in bathroom only to get a room where the faucet drainage was clogged and slow and so was the bathtub!!!!. Escort service cards were left at the entrance of the side doors and along the vending machines for drinks and ice.....smdh! Our window view was that a junkyard consisting of an old brokendown car and boat. The indoor pool was temporarily out of order and the hallway to rooms were not air conditioned or it was broken. I also found hair in clean towels which I had to personally take downstairs to switch and get additional towels due to no night staff. The front desk clerk was nice and the main entrance was nice but the rest of the building needs a make over really bad. If you just need a place to stay then this is for you. I really wanted to leave and check in else where but we suffered through the night. Sorry for the bad review but I have to keep it real for others
We went last year for Christmas and it was amazing, this year we went and everything went downhill. We got to the hotel and we went to put our food in the fridge and it wasn't working, not to mention it smelled like dead fish. We thought that we could relax by going to the pool, but apparently not. We walked into the pool area where the room was freezing cold. My daughter and wife were getting goosebumps, then we saw a mountain dew can in the water. We left, went to sleep, woke up and thought nothing could get worse until we went to breakfast and there was practically no good. The waffle maker had no batter, the hotel had no milk for my daughters cereal, not strong coffee and no pepper or salt. By this point we had enough and finally at 8:45 someone did something and got everything ready (breakfast ends at 9 am ) as if it was 6, when it starts. We canceled our next week when they refused to do anything. Very VERY disappointed.
