Great experience, I had Shane Dietlin as our realtor and he was very helpful even with our picky restrictions. I was weary about going to a big realtor company but I was very impressed and highly suggest Shane!
2) The house wasn't in the best condition when we moved in. The grass hadn't been cut in at least a month. The refrigerator had black mold in it.
4) They are very picky of how they revive money and it's very inconvenient.
1) A real estate agent by the name of Crystal Marshburn ditched me when I was living in a hotel for a week trying to find a house. She had told me over the phone, a week prior, to contact her to schedule viewings. I had put a little trust in her and waited until two days before I was going to be in NC to schedule. Silly me. She NEVER got back to me to this day. Good thing there are other real estate companies in this town.

5) The blonde lady at the front desk has very bad vibes.
After giving more than thirty days notice that I was vacating, they failed to CONTACT me with any warning and literally showed up to my house on MANY occasions trying to "show" the house. Keep in mind there was not a "for rent" sign out yet. The lease states they shall give at a minimum 1 hour notice prior to showing the house. They literally showed whenever they wanted and would walk right in. They did this while a friend of mine was on the shower! They also tried to get personal information from people visiting me, while I was running errands... asking about my personal business, as to when I was moving out. One, they didn't verify if it was me and two, I already gave all the information they needed IN THE OFFICE when I gave my notice. I also had many problems with this company. Another incident happened when my ac went out (I had a chihuahua inside the home). I called to get it fixed and they told me and I quote "unfortunately its not a priority since you're neither the elderly or the sick". It took over 4 days for them to fix it. Its always a hassle with them. They never keep their word. I called to speak with a manager and a lady said shed have someone call. Ive yet to receive any phone calls. They're a terrible company!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. Not to mention when I moved in the carpets were filthy! They said they had someone come out and "clean" then but when I asked for proof of the cleaning they told me they didn't have to prove anything... Yet I have to have the fireplace inspected and the carpets cleaned upon vacancy. Just terrible.
Super helpful! They have stayed in contact with me since the day I've talked to them. They constantly send me emails towards houses that are in my criteria. My Realtor was very involved. To see them with less than a 4 star rating means old reviews.
I am uncertain as to why soo many people have had an unpleasant experience with Century 21 Properties. Kate, Lori, and the other girls were all extremely accommodating to my SO and I. All were very friendly, professional, and worked diligently to help us get set up with our perfect place. The lease is very clear, and easy to understand with no hidden information that some slumlords try to sneak in. I am beyond excited to be renting from Century 21 and to feel comfortable speaking with their employees for any of my questions or needs. I would definitely recommend them to anyone searching for a company that will work to fit around your personal needs!
3) I had put the deposit down and then a couple weeks later was first months rent. I was confused, thinking we already paid first months rent and missed it. We had 10 days until we were going to be evicted. I physically went in there to give them unrelated paper work and had a conversation with THREE other people talking about the whole process. I told them we were military and we won't be paid until the 14th. I told them I'd have it in that morning. NOT ONE PERSON out of the THREE people told me I had to tell that information to a certain person who was in charge of this house that I had to call and make a "record" of it. So once again silly me, I thought if I had mentioned it IN PERSON that it'd be alright. possibly one of them would walk the two steps to whoever I have to report to, to tell her I'd definitely have the money in on the 14th. So since I came in, in person, I assumed they made a record of it or told whoever needed to know what they needed. But no, I got so many threatening phone calls from them. Their heads were exploding over this, total freak out. I thought it was normal. I thought they knew rent was going to be on the 14th and that they were just trying to intimidate/harass me. So when I finally went in to pay, i was yelled at for not telling them I was going to pay on the 14th. I said i physically came in the week before and I told three people in there that I was going to pay on the 14th. THEN AND ONLY THEN WAS I TOLD THEY NEED A "RECORD" of it.
