******Also, the restroom facilities are always disgusting and stink like urine.

*****First of all, Beware if you're requesting copies of each visit for your own records, they will charge you $10 each time. (For ONE piece of paper?!) I believe it is disgusting that a place who plays Christian music, and act like they care about their patients charges them $10 for a piece of paper. I've worked in the medical field and there is always exceptions, however this place, even though they are ALREADY getting paid by insurance companies for patient care, they are also double dipping by charging patients when they request their own records! Regardless of it being legally "okay" to charge, that doesn't make it right. This place should stop playing Christian music, and start playing their true hearts desired music, maybe something like rap music about money and hustling people. I wouldn't recommend coming here by any means.

******They are always over crowded and their staff in the front always ignore patients waiting to check in or check out.

I have built trust with my doctor. I couldn't ask for a better doctor. They are extremely busy with hundreds of patients a day, but she still notices little details and has a sharp eye. I commend this practice for accepting medicare and medicaid, and for taking care of all the veterans and soldiers who need help. They aren't perfect, but they do their best, it's much better than any practice in my area of Morehead City, and I travel an hour there and an hour back once a month. Highly recommend,

*****There's a no smoking sign by the front door, people still stand out by the front door and smoke and the staff doesn't say anything to stop them!

I have been to other mental health clinics in the area and this one is by far the best, Mr. Sanchez is awesome. My only complaint is after waiting a long time to see a therapist, my first session with her was not good(she came across harsh & uncompassionate to me), told them I would not see her again and wanted to see another, so need to wait 2 weeks-but even that wait is understandable. I have had no issue's dealing with front desk,

Staff and Dr Cussi are great! Sometimes the wait is a little long but it's worth it!

My doctor was great. It’s the front desk personnel I can’t get past. They are very unprofessional and rude. I think they have no idea on mental illness or else they wouldn’t treat patients the way they do. I’ve complained many times and as I thought, nothing happened, same ole rude ppl still doing the same horrible work ethics every visit. I don’t like that they boot you out the door when you can’t make appointments but cancel in an adequate amount of time. I was away for a family emergency on the other side of the world, cancelled my appointment well over 24 hours, just to find out when I returned that I was booted out of psychiatric care. No one called me to tell me this, I had to find out when I went in to another type of appointment. It’s hard going to a place that suppose to help your illness but yet seem to make it worst. I hate going there and I’m in the process of finding some place elsewhere. Sad thing is mental illness is very hard to cope with and many things can happen without care but they obviously could care less if they talk to people like they do and treat people as if they are just numbers when it comes to not being able to make an appointment due to unexpected emergencies. I give one star for the doctors, but the front desk gets 0 stars, they will eventually push most to go elsewhere with their attitudes.
