Left a bad taste in my mouth! I don’t normally write these but I feel compelled to share my experience since customer service is so important. First off let me start by admitting I was about 10 minutes late for my appointment, which I apologized for upon arriving. The girl at the front desk was great, friendly and welcoming. However when it was time to go back for the pre-exam tests, that was very awkward. I did have my seven month old daughter with me which I had asked about bringing her to the appointment when I scheduled, there was no hesitation on their part. The older gal who brought me back said “do u have a carrier for him?” I replied that I did but it was in the car..she motioned for me to come back and said “well we need to get started”. She continued to condicendingly ask if I’ve ever been to an optometrist because there was lots of equipment my baby would be in the way for. Her impatience with me having my baby (who was extremely well-behaved) made me feel very uncomfortable. The doctor was efficient, friendly and easy to talk to. I then encountered the lady helping me fit into a new pair of glasses. I don’t think I saw her smile once. She came across very serious and almost cold. She made a few nasty comments about choosing a frame, hurried me as if this isn’t an expensive investment that I wear on my face every day. I then asked about how my insurance would come in to play and she told me I would have a deposit of half the total value of glasses and lenses on top of copays. I said that I would only be able to pay for the visit and contact fitting copays today. She then said “I like to think of it as going to the store and expecting to buy milk with no money”. Ew. No..u bring home the milk! This does not apply! You are just mean and unhappy! Needless to say, aweful customer service. I also mentioned to each one of them that my current glasses needed to be tightened, they all assured me it would be done but wasn’t. Again, was rushed.
